I am an artist based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I hold a Clarinet Performance degree from the University of Oklahoma, and while my early creative life centered on performance, my focus gradually shifted to the visual arts later in life.
After spending 25 years working in a corporate office role, I reached a point where I wanted to pursue something more creative. I was drawn to work that combined problem solving, spatial thinking, and visual impact. I began experimenting with highly detailed watercolor paintings, with a strong interest in realism and precision. In 2016, I discovered chalk art, which opened the door to working at a much larger scale and directly within public spaces.
By 2020 and into 2021, after practicing weekly in my neighborhood, I began focusing on 3D anamorphic chalk art. I taught myself the principles of forced perspective and illusion and ultimately built a career around this specialized form of visual art. Today, my work centers on creating immersive, realistic imagery that changes depending on where the viewer stands and encourages interaction.
In addition to 3D street art, I also specialize in murals, with a strong focus on trompe l’oeil and anamorphic techniques. I enjoy exploring texture, surface, transparency, and depth, using visual illusion to transform flat walls and pavement into unexpected experiences.
Whether I am creating temporary installations or permanent murals, my goal is always the same. I want to create visually surprising work that invites curiosity, rewards a second look, and brings spaces to life.
